Valentine's Day. A lesson I learned long ago!

Valentine's Day. A lesson I learned long ago!

I've been married for nearly 30 years. In that time I've learned a few critical lessons. First, if your wife's birthday is on Christmas day, don't EVER buy a pair of earrings and put them in two different boxes with one earring in each. That will get you in the doghouse pretty quickly. Second, flowers are a wonderful "accompanying" gift. Flowers as the only gift? No. Flowers should accompany another gift, even if it's a small one. And if you're married to a woman who says she doesn't NEED flowers, buy them anyway. Third, and this one is of major importance; put thought into the gift, no matter how big or small the gift is and no matter how expensive it is. A thoughtful, less expensive gift is valued more than an expensive gift that took two minutes to pick out at some big brand retailer or jeweler.

So, what are you to do? Well my friends, Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Need to score some points with your significant other? This is the perfect opportunity. Every Park West London gift has a story. It might be how the item was created, or by whom, or what the material is. Likely, it is a combination of all these things. Inventory tends to thin-out pretty quickly around Valentine's Day, so choose wisely my friends, and choose quickly. And, don't forget the flowers!
