Goooooaaaaaallllll! This product is an amazing piece for any soccer lover. I love what Kerry makes out of wood. I bought a bowl from him some time ago and I've been a fan ever since. His work is truly amazing. He starts with pieces of wood he thinks have characteristics that would work well with his vision. He looks at color, grain, and, of course, wood type. Then he puts the wood pieces on a lathe and "turns" them into art. He's a sports fan, so you'll notice this theme throughout his creations. His products make the perfect gift for anyone who collects sports memorabilia or has a "man-cave." - JOHN

This piece is made up of 12 walnut pentagons and 20 maple hexagons, painstakingly glued into a "truncated icosahedron" which is then turned into a perfect sphere on the lathe. This is a regulation (size-5) soccer ball. Don't kick this ball around, though - you'll break your foot! This soccer ball belongs in a trophy case or as the mantle piece for any serious futbol fan. This piece can be laser-engraved with personalized inscriptions or player number.
