"Honeycomb" PenRegular price $495
They say the pen is mightier than the sword...plus, it's a lot lighter, too, which makes it the perfect gift! I'm the type of writer who goes through at least 2 pens every month. And truthfully, I've never loved the glide of a pen more than the ones William Henry makes. The craftsmanship is so impeccable I almost didn't believe it at first - I thought, this is too pretty to use! But I immediately realized after one stroke on paper that William Henry pens are MADE to be used. You can feel their dependability as much as you can see how stunningly gorgeous they are. If I ever get writer's block, I just turn one over in my hand for inspiration! This pen is great for the aspiring Woolf or Tennyson, the exec, the snail mail enthusiast, or just about anyone who appreciates functional art. And who doesn't? ~Veronica
Description, Features & Materials
A sleek and elegant pen that writes beautifully, carries comfortably, and catches the eye. The 'Honeycomb' features William Henry's bolt action mechanism, inspired by bolt action rifles, which locks open and spring releases closed – and yes, it’s a lot of fun to play with. Barrel is crafted from aluminum 'honeycomb' in acrylic, and trim accents are all in stainless steel. Both the thumbstud (on the bolt action system) and the top of the pen are inlaid with citrine gemstones. Modern mechanics, clean lines and timeless craftsmanship.
Mechanism: bolt action
Materials: citrine, acrylic
Citrine is a variety of quartz whose color ranges from a pale yellow to brown due to ferric impurities.
Acrylic resins are a group of related thermoplastic or thermosetting plastic substances derived from acrylic acid. Acrylic resin is extremely weather and scratch proof. In solid form, the acrylic resin can last for decades, and it does not yellow when exposed to sunlight, even after many years. William Henry uses innovative acrylic resins with rare and original color compositions.
